Ahel’s Conservation Club (ACC) was the first step towards our journey of saving endangered species and creating a small footstep among many other conservationists. As the world wore the blanket of COVID-19, as the gloom of pandemic took us to our homes, we learnt it is important to have a home to go to. The dark days of death due to a virus, much smaller than us humans, reminded us of those species who are endangered and may even be extinct now due to the sheer lack of knowledge, responsibility and empathy in us humans.

We were planning on a trip to see the aye-ayes, the timid apes who are at risk of being endangered due to misinformation, lack of knowledge, fear of unknown among the locals. Suddenly the human world came to a stop and we found ourselves under the lockdown.
